About Me
I am a doctoral psychologist who provides psychological services (therapy and assessment) to adolescents and adults. I offer virtual therapy services to individuals residing in Ontario through my own practice, Inner Light Psychology, as well as comprehensive psychoeducational assessments through Waterloo Psychology Group (located uptown Waterloo, Ontario). I often see individuals with complex diagnostic concerns. I also have experience working with individuals who are cognitively gifted and questioning whether they have additional concerns (e.g., ADHD, learning difficulties, etc.) that may be contributing to challenges in school and/or work.
Therapeutically, I work with individuals struggling with a range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, OCD, academic difficulties, and relationship challenges. My goal is to provide clients with support while helping them to build skills to make meaningful changes in their lives. My approach is primarily cognitive-behavioural, and I draw upon other empirically supported therapy approaches as may be needed. I tend to provide a mix of empathic listening with goal-directed strategizing and guidance. My approach is collaborative and adaptive, changing as needed to help clients meet their goals.
More information about me, my processes, and the services I offer is available on my website.
