Sections, Interest Groups & Committees

The OPA establishes Sub-Committees to help undertake the work of the Board in areas that may require oversight and or traditionally involve long standing issues or need for effective working relationships.

These Sub-Committees will report to the Board as needed or prescribed by the Board. The Board may also establish Working Groups to undertake short-term projects on behalf of the Board. A ‘Working Group’ will normally have a termination date.  


In addition upon written application to the Board of Directors of at least 25 members, the Board may establish Sections with powers to carry out programs consistent with the mission, vision, values, policies of the OPA. The Board may at its discretion combine, divide or dissolve Sections as the need arises.
