Psychology and the Legal System (P.A.L.S) Network
This network is an interdisciplinary group of people including mental health professionals, lawyers and students who have a shared commitment to providing trauma education to the legal community. The aim is to promote more trauma-informed legal practices and courtrooms, in service of improving both the well-being of individuals before the courts and also the emotional health and performance of those who work in the legal system. P.A.LS has collaborated with Osgoode Hall Law School and the Innocence Canada, as well as other interested parties.
