Intensive Adult Autism Training Group
The Intensive Adult Autism Training Group will increase psychologists’ knowledge and confidence in assessing and providing service to autistic adults. It will consist of six 90-minute monthly virtual meetings from January to June 2026. Drs. Vicki Nolan and Casey Fulford (Clinical Psychologists) are the leads for this program. Dr. Kevin Stoddart (Director, The Redpath Centre) will be assisting.
Who is this program for: We are looking for 12 Psychologists who are actively working with Autistic adult clients or planning on supporting them in the near future. Previous attendance at The Redpath Centre/OPA Adult training series and previous experience with Autistic adults is suggested. Along with topical presentations and readings, participants will be asked to present clinical cases, which will then be discussed as a group. If you are interested, please complete and return the attached questionnaire, so that we can better understand your work experience, learning goals and suitability for this group.
Monthly meeting structure:
- 30-minute presentation by one of the organizers or guest speakers
- 15-minute case presentation by a participant related to assessment or therapy
- 30-minute case discussion, when participants ask questions and offer suggestions
- 15-minute discussion and summary of recommendations
Dates: Meetings will be held monthly on:
- Friday, January 23, 2026 - 12PM-1:30PM
- Friday, February 13, 2026 - 12PM-1:30PM
- Friday, March 13, 2026 - 12PM-1:30PM
- Friday, April 10, 2026 - 12PM-1:30PM
- Friday, May 8, 2026 - 12PM-1:30PM
- Friday, June 12, 2026 - 12PM-1:30PM

Additional Opportunity: There is an option for one-on-one case consultation with The Redpath Clinicians for separate consultation fee.
