Workshop Overview

This workshop explores CALM-TF, a trauma-focused psychotherapy intervention to support individuals living with advanced cancer, including at critical and potentially traumatic junctures in the disease trajectory. Learners will also be introduced to the core principles and framework of CALM, making this workshop suitable both for those interested in trauma-focused adaptations and for those seeking a foundational understanding of the CALM approach. Offered in a hybrid format (in-person and virtual options), the workshop will bring the CALM community together for a meaningful opportunity to connect, collaborate, and share knowledge.

Learning Objectives

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

•    Understand the core principles and framework of CALM.

•    Understand the rationale, theoretical foundations and clinical application of CALM-TF.

•    Explain the CALM-TF process through videotaped sessions.

•    Apply CALM-TF principles to clinical practice.

Regular registration: $300 CAD

UHN staff/trainees: $100 CAD

Student registration: $150 CAD
