About Me
I am registered in good standing with the CPBAO, practicing in adult (18+) clinical and forensic psychology.
Forensic Focus: I conduct evidence-based risk & threat assessments and rigorous psycho-legal evaluations (e.g., criminal responsibility, effort, sentencing directions, fitness questions, ...). I also conduct independent assessment for sexual behaviour concerns (e.g., interest, fantasies, porn addiction) and aggressive behaviour concerns.
Clinical Focus: I conduct psychodiagnostic assessment for a wide range of clinical concerns. I offer psychotherapy for anxiety, OCD, trauma, assertiveness, psychosis, and anger. Special interest in domestic violence, military/first responder populations, and people in conflict with the law.
Education:
* MSc in Adult and Health Psychology, Catholic University Leuven (Belgium)
* MSc in Forensic Psychology, Maastricht University (the Netherlands)
* PhD in Clinical Forensic Psychology, Simon Fraser University (Canada)
Training: I completed my residency and supervised practice at SJHH with rotations at the Forensic Psychiatry Program, the Ontario Structured Psychotherapy West Program (OSP West), and the Anxiety Treatment and Research Center (ATRC). Practicum placements have included youth and adult forensic services (corrections, in- and outpatient, BC); HeadWise (neuropsych, BC); Wise Mind (DBT, BC); SFU Clinic (ACT, CBT, MI outpatient, BC); Dr. Sharon Arnold & Associates (psychoeducational, giftedness, & ADHD assessment, BC).
Prior to coming to Canada, I was a registered psychologist in good standing in Belgium. I still hold registration as a Registered Clinical Counselor in BC.

* Rate: $300 (no tax) for individual sessions, $120 for groups (currently accepting waitlist for CPT and WET).
* No direct insurance billing available at this moment.
