About Me

I am a Clinical Psychologist, registered with the College of Psychologists in the provinces of Ontario and British Columbia (non-practicing, out of province). I provide services to adults and older adolescents.

I am very passionate about my work, and take an empathic and collaborative approach to help my clients overcome struggles and live more meaningful lives. I take great care in tailoring my treatments to the unique needs of each client, utilizing evidence-based techniques to help clients meet their therapeutic goals.

I specialize in the treatment of:
-Anxiety disorders (social anxiety, generalized anxiety, illness anxiety, panic disorder and specific phobias)
-Obsessive-compulsive disorder
-Low mood, depression, and burnout
-Substance use problems
-Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and related symptoms
-Insomnia/difficulties with sleep
-Post-trauma distress
-Hair pulling and skin picking

I offer Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based interventions.

For individuals struggling with co-occurring mental health and substance use problems, I have successfully treated many individuals with these difficulties using effective integrated therapies.

I received my Masters and Doctoral degrees from Concordia University in Montreal. I completed a summer practicum in the Anxiety Treatment and Research Clinic of St. Joseph’s Hospital (Hamilton) and a 1-year clinical residency at the Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre, focusing on mood and anxiety disorders as well as substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues. I have also received training through hospital and university-based programs and clinics, including an adult ADHD program, CBT clinic, and Concordia University’s on-site psychology centre.
