Dr. Sohail Abbas is a registered clinical psychologist in Ontario. Dr. Abbas specializes in treating Anxiety Disorders:panic disorder, social phobia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and all kinds of depression and mood disorders. Besides working with individuals, Dr. Abbas also helps couples and families to deal with a variety of issues including stress, dealing with the loss of a loved one, adjusting to life changes, communication, separation and divorce.
Dr. Abbas received his PhD in 1983 from the University of Toulouse, France. He also completed a fellowship at John Hopkins University and was a Fullbright Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Abbas has over 25 years experience in the field of Clinical Psychology. He has been a Clinician, teacher and a researcher.In addition to his private practice, Dr. Abbas has also works as Psychologist at Trillium Health Partners, Queensway Health Centre.
