About Me

I am interested in providing psychological treatment for individuals going through the life transitions of adulthood with co-morbid health changes associated with difficult medical conditions and hormone health transitions. I provide neuropsychological assessments for evaluating cognitive decline and changes associated with dementias and other brain health conditions. I also help couples and care partners support people living with dementia in the community.

I am the Clinical Director of the Healthy Aging & Dementia Clinic and the Women's Menopause & Brain Health Clinic at Lifespan.

I have completed specific training in Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT/CBT-Insomnia), Emotionally Focused Therapy
(EFT), and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Goal Management Training (GMT) interventions and use an integrative approach that focuses on coping and improving quality of life. I work with people who are experiencing depression, anxiety, Bipolar Disorders, ADHD, PTSD, menopause/postpartum mood/cognitive change, pain disorders, grief, sleep problems, chronic health and dementias/ neurodegenerative conditions, care partner burden, sexual health changes, interpersonal distress, and life transition distress. I am a WSIB provider and help individuals return to work after disability leave.

Early in my career, I developed specialized programs to improve quality of life for seniors with mental health and dementias living in residential settings.

My new innovative women’s brain health risk prevention program, Menolink: Connecting the Dots was created to address the gaps in women’s knowledge regarding the interconnectedness of reproductive/hormone health, mental, cognitive and physical health issues across the lifespan. I have created a series of intergenerational workshops to help adults of all ages understand hormone health transitions and the prevention of dementia risks.
I volunteer on many community boards and provide community presentations.
