About Me
I am approved by the College of Psychologists & Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (OPBAO) to practice clinical psychology (assessment and intervention) with adults. I also provide peer-supervised psychological services to older adults (seniors).
My theoretical orientation is primarily cognitive-behavioural. I work with clients to strengthen their self-awareness and problem-solving skills and attain treatment goals that are meaningful to them. Establishing rapport and maintaining the therapeutic alliance is an important part of my work as a clinician. I utilize diverse techniques drawn from cognitive-behavioural therapy and other evidence-based interventions to build this alliance and address presenting problems.
I consider myself a warm and self-reflective clinician who delivers ethical, evidence-based, trauma-informed, and person-centered care. I prioritize building trust and accountability and working collaboratively with clients and their circle of care to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
