About Me

I am a clinical psychologist specializing in psychological services for children and adolescents. I received a Doctorate degree in Developmental Psychology in 2011 from the University of Toronto and a Doctorate degree in School and Clinical Child Psychology in 2022 from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE), University of Toronto. I have received clinical training in treatment and assessment of clients with various presentations (e.g., mood, anxiety, selective mutism, emotion dysregulation, autism, ADHD, and learning challenges) at hospitals, community mental health, school boards, and private practice settings across the Greater Toronto Area. I have research experience examining the link between shyness in early childhood and mental health problems (such as anxiety) later in life.

I provide psychological assessment, evidence-based therapy, and consultation services to children, adolescents, and their caregivers for a wide range of mental health concerns. My approach to treatment is driven by curiosity and empathy, mainly using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I use interventions that are developed collaboratively with clients and focus on a therapeutic relationship that fosters mental wellness.

When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and dogs, exercising, going on walks, hiking, and cooking.
