About Me

I have over 24 years of experience supporting the mental health of children, youth, families, and adults in Northern Ontario communities. I otained my honours bachelor of arts from Laurentian University in 1996 and my Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from Lakehead University in 2000. I have been a registered member of the College of Psychologists since 2005. In addition to providing counselling and psychotherapy and psychological assessments for a wide variety of mental health and neurodevelopmental problems, I am actively involved in promoting evidence-informed practices and analyzing treatment outcomes at Algoma Family Services. I am also engaged in the provision of clinical supervision, and provide mental health training presentations to health care professionals and other allied community members (e.g., probation officers, police). Areas of past research have included personality, meditation/mindfulness, visual perception, and evidence-based practices. In addition, I am fluently bilingual in French and English.
