
About Me
Dr. Jaksic is a licensed psychologist and behaviour analyst with over 14 years of experience delivering Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to children, adolescents, and adults. She has experience treating a variety of areas including Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Anxiety, Specific Phobia’s, Depression, and PTSD, as well as navigating life stressors. Dr. Jaksic has a particular clinical and research interest in Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and works to tailor evidence-based approaches to meet the unique needs of each client.
While CBT is Dr. Jaksic’s primary treatment approach, she also integrates strategies from other modalities, including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and emotion-focused interventions. Dr Jaksic’s goal is to create a supportive environment where clients can build meaningful, lasting change.
Dr Jaksic earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Manitoba and is registered with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario. Her clinical work has included positions at both the Hospital for Sick Children and McMaster Children’s Hospital. She also published research on the treatment of OCD-like behaviours in children with ASD.
Dr. Jaksic offers both in-person and virtual therapy sessions to support flexibility and accessibility in care.
