About Me

I’m a clinical psychologist and Clinical Director of The Downtown Psychology Clinic. I provide psychological assessment and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) for a range of concerns, including depression, schizophrenia and psychosis, and anxiety disorders. I have particular experience working with generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder, agoraphobia, and social anxiety disorder. My approach is evidence-based, collaborative, non-judgmental, and tailored to each client’s individual needs and goals.

I am Board Certified in Clinical Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP). I am also certified in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy by the Canadian Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies (CACBT), of which I am a Fellow.

I completed my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Western University and my clinical residency at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton, where I trained in mood disorders, neuropsychology, schizophrenia, and severe mental illness. I later worked in a range of inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings before moving into full-time private practice and co-founding The Downtown Psychology Clinic in 2019.

Teaching and supervision have also been an important part of my career. I am an Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto and an Adjunct Clinical Supervisor in the Department of Psychology at Queen’s University. I also provide clinical supervision and consultation to psychologists and psychologists-in-training.
