About Me
I’m a Clinical Psychologist providing online therapy to adults residing in the province of Ontario.
I have a special interest in the areas of trauma and culture:
- I work with clients who have been impacted by difficult life experiences, who want to build more connected and meaningful lives.
- Many of my clients belong to communities of colour, who are seeking mental health support that is inclusive and affirming of their cultural and ethnic identities.
Overall, I am passionate about helping people get to the root of their issues while honouring their cultural roots.
My work is informed by my professional and personal experiences. I hold a PhD in Clinical Psychology from McGill University. I have expertise in emotion-focused (EFT), cognitive behaviour (CBT), and dialectical behaviour (DBT) therapies. I am a 1.5-generation immigrant with a Chinese-Indonesian background. I believe in the value of social justice as a life-long practice.
