About Me

Dr. Marc Shiffman is a registered Clinical Psychologist working in private practice at the Renni clinic, a wellness centre located at College and Bathurst. He has extensive training and experience in the assessment and treatment of adults, adolescents, children, and families.

Prior to joining the new clinic at Renni, Dr. Shiffman gained experience working in a variety of settings (including private practice, hospitals, public mental health clinics, and schools), serving individuals across the lifespan with a wide range of presenting issues. Currently, he provides therapy to adults and adolescents presenting with mood, anxiety, interpersonal problems, trauma, identity, and other related difficulties.

Dr. Shiffman's approach to therapy is eclectic, drawing on various schools of psychology to meet the needs of his client with compassion. He sees the therapeutic relationship to be key to the success of any therapy, and might incorporate aspects of psychodynamic thought, attachment theory, CBT, DBT, etc as indicated.

While Dr. Shiffman attempts to be flexible to meet the needs of his clients, he tends to work daytime/weekday hours. Please reach out to Dr. Shiffman by email for any questions you might have about his practice or availability and he will be happy to connect with you.
