About Me
I hold an Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Trent University and a Master of Psychology from Adler Professional Graduate School, where I also earned a Certificate in Adler Trauma Psychotherapy. I’m a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and a Psychological Associate with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario.
My practice is rooted in the belief that psychological care should treat the whole person. We are not fragments—we deserve to feel whole.
I work with adolescents and adults, including veterans and first responders. I have extensive experience supporting individuals with depression, anxiety, PTSD, anger, and relationship or attachment concerns, and I welcome a wide range of other challenges.
My clinical approach is Eclectic. I primarily draw from Adlerian and Trauma-Informed methodologies, while integrating Humanistic, PsychoDynamic, Feminist, Positive Psychology, Relational, and Schema Therapies. I also use tools from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Buddhist-Derived Interventions such as Mindfulness.
I’m an unstructured therapist who emphasizes self-worth, self-care, goals, behavioural patterns, reframing, and building strong rapport. Therapy is not one-size-fits-all—I tailor my approach to suit each client’s needs.
I bring authenticity to my work. I may wear nerdy jewellery or share personal stories when they serve your growth. While many find this comforting, it’s important to know this upfront—it may help you decide if I’m the right fit for you.
