About Me

Dr. Chattha (she/her/they) is the Founder of the Momenta Clinic. Her vision was to build a practice of talented psychologists and therapists who share her passion for helping people bring insight, happiness and meaningful change into their lives. Providing compassionate, evidence-based care with humility and transparency is a cornerstone of Dr. Chattha’s practice. She believes strongly in access to high-quality mental health care for all and has worked to build a welcoming space at the Momenta Clinic for people from diverse backgrounds and ethnicities.

In her professional career, Dr. Chattha has worked as staff psychologist at several hospitals including Credit Valley Hospital (CVH), Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) and The Ottawa Hospital (TOH). Her experiences have including working in specialty clinics, such as the Mood and Anxiety program (CAMH), Eating Disorders Program (CVH) and Rehabilitation Centre at (TOH). Dr. Chattha has also provided consultation in primary care, which has included providing clinical support and education to multiple family health teams as well as delivering psychological care for primary care patients. Dr. Chattha has also worked as a faculty member at the University of Guelph-Humber and served on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Mental Health Association, serving as Board Secretary and chair of several Board committees. She is passionate about innovation in healthcare and outside of her work in the Momenta Clinic, she has an interest in healthcare startups.

Dr. Chattha has a doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in clinical psychology and is a registered psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO). She is also a member of the Canadian Psychological Association and the Ontario Psychological Association (OPA).
