This 2-day workshop is designed for clinicians who are interested in utilizing DBT in either group or individual settings with clients via interactive lecture and experiential exercises. Participants will learn the components of standard DBT, how to conduct a behavioural analysis and solution analysis of problematic behaviours, as well as how to balance validation and change strategies. The facilitator will provide insight into skills for clients, including mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.
