A psychologist is required to offer services to children and youth admitted to the Day Treatment /Section 23 Program (0.8 FTE). The Day Treatment Program is offered in a three locations throughout the City of Ottawa, responding to the mental health and educational needs of children and youth within “Steps to Success”, “Back on Track” and “Centre Ado”.  
The psychologist will participate as a member of the Support Team within the CHEO Day Treatment programs. The multidisciplinary team will work in partnership with the Core Teams within each program. The service model is based on a strength-based model of care, aiming to identify and build on each child’s and youth’s strengths, talents, and not just problems and deficiencies.  
The position requires travel within Ottawa to the various CHEO/Le Transit/McHugh program sites.

Le Programme de traitement de jour, Section 23, a besoin des services d’un ou d’une psychologue (0,8 ETP). Ce Programme de traitement de jour est offert à trois endroits dans toute la ville d’Ottawa afin de répondre aux besoins des enfants et des jeunes dans les domaines de la santé mentale et de l’éducation aux « Steps to Success »,  « Back on Track » et « Centre Ado ».  
Le ou la psychologue sera membre de l’équipe de soutien des programmes de traitement de jour du CHEO. Cette équipe multidisciplinaire travaillera en partenariat avec les équipes principales de chacun des programmes. Ces équipes appliquent un modèle de soins fondé sur les atouts, visant à définir et à développer les points forts et les talents de chaque enfant, plutôt que de se concentrer uniquement sur ses problèmes et ses déficiences. 
Le ou la titulaire devra se déplacer dans Ottawa pour se rendre aux divers sites des programmes du CHEO, de Le Transit, de McHugh.
